Shipping and Return Policy (Issued January 01, 2020)

Please set your email settings to accept email from HD Work Gear in order to communicate order status updates and ship tracking information.

 

HD Work Gear offers new, first-quality work clothing, work boots and other trade-worker’s gear.  If for any reason you (Buyer) are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, Buyer can return the merchandise for full refund, certain products may have a re-stocking fee of 10% to 15% where noted.  All merchandise returned for must be made within 20-days of the delivery date.

 

 

Shipping Information

HD Work Gear will ship your order as quickly as possible. Item(s) that are in stock at our warehouse are shipped within 2-business days; items shipped from our manufacturers generally ship within 1 to 3-business days. In all cases customer order information is updated at HD Work Gear’s Customer Registration Page including order status and shipping tracking information.  Customer order processing and the pre-shipping procedures include order processing time, customer contact and shipping address verifications, product stock check, shipping label processing, packaging requirements and carrier package pick-up.  Delivery times vary by location, customers can expect up to 3 to 7 business days for ground shipping, and 12 to 14-business days for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii, and 5 to 6-weeks for shipping to APO/FPO recipients.

 

HD Work Gear will do its best to process your order as fast as possible; all delivery / transit times are approximate.

 

Where certain shipping option are not offered or known during the checkout process and your order is being shipped to a PO Box, APO/FPO, Alaska, Hawaii or US Territories, the Buyer will be notified for any revised shipping cost updates and approval, any related added shipping cost will invoiced accordingly.

 

Multiple orders may ship in separate packages and will show different order status updates. Customers can expect to receive an order processing updates within 1 to 2-working business days (excluding weekends and holidays) for your order status updates).

 

Ground Shipping Offered

HD Work Gear Ships from numerous warehouses that are strategically located, upon processing your order, ground shipping is often as quick as 3 to 4-days shipping time (shipping time does not include order processing time).

 

Lost or Damaged Shipments

Buyer's claims for lost or damaged shipments while in transit shall to be filed with the carrier of record. HD Work Gear will assist the Buyer with shipping information and verification of shipping in all related matters for the Buyer's use in filing any such claim against the carrier.

 

Title Passage of Merchandise

Ownership of the merchandise passes to the Buyer upon HD Work Gear or its

Agent releases or transfers the merchandise through manifest to the shipping carrier of record.

Returns Information / Buyer’s Return Shipping Responsibility

 

Notice:

  1. Prison Blues Apparel cannot be returned or exchanged.
  2. Custom embroidery, optional safety reflective tape and optional screen-printed apparel are not eligible for return or exchange.

 

Returns shall be pre-paid at Buyer’s expense and must be shipped to HD Work Gear using an approved ground shipping service such as: FedEx, UPS or USPS priority.  Where the merchandise qualifies for manufacturer warranty or the merchandise was incorrectly shipped, HD Work Gear shall pay the return shipping cost.  Should the claim be for manufacturer warranty, please send photos of the defect as part of the Return Authorization Process.

 

Return Authorization Number and Instructions Required

If you need to return an item(s), please email HDWG at: customerservice@hdworkgear.com and request a Return Authorization Number; HD Work Gear will respond via email with the Return Authorization Number and Instructions.  The Buyer shall protect all of the original merchandise packaging, do not place or affix shipping labels or mark on the original product box; place the original manufacturer’s product box into another standard cardboard shipping box and comply with the ground shipper requirements for insured ground shipping protection.

 

The Definition of “Like-New / Retail Ready” Applies

Returned merchandise shall not show any evidence of extensive handling, use or wear and must be returned accurately packaged within the original manufacture’s package assembly including the original undamaged product box depicting all the original graphics and artwork, including all protective wrappings, product labels and attached tags, and returned to HD Work Gear per the instructions set-forth in the Return Authorizations Instructions as issued only by HD Work Gear.  Moreover, all returned merchandise shall be in like-new retail ready condition.  

 

Returned Merchandise Inspection Period

When HD Work Gear receives returned merchandise, allow up to 2-business days for the return merchandise to be processed for approval or denial.  If the return merchandise meets the like-new criteria a refund (in-whole or part) will be applied, credited back to Buyer, if the return is rejected the returned merchandise shipped back to buyer.

 

Right to Reject Returned Merchandise

HD Work Gear reserves the right to reject returned merchandise and return the merchandise back to Buyer where said merchandise does not meeting the like-new retail ready criteria.  HD Work Gear will ship-back (ground shipping) the rejected merchandise to the Buyer and the Buyer will incur the ship-back charges for any merchandise having to be sent back to the Buyer.

 

Damaged Packaging Fee

Where merchandise is returned to HD work Gear in damaged product packages or where the products is missing labels or tags, a “Re-Boxing” and or “Label Replacement” are subject to placement fees (not to exceed $15.00) and will be charged-back and deducted from the Buy’s proceeds at the time of credit refund.

 

Credit / Reimbursement

Returns merchandise will be credited back to your credit card through Square Credit Card Processing or the Customer’s PayPal Account, in either case; refunds will always be credited back to the original credit card payment method.  Buyer’s original shipping and applicable handling charges are non-refundable.

 

Merchandise Exchange Not Offered

HD Work Gear encourages the Buyer to simply purchase a new online order (recommended); this is the fastest and best way to receive your merchandise without the wait time for the pending return process..

 

Restocking Fee

On certain merchandise where noted, returns are subject to a restocking fee up to 15% applies.

 

Defective Items

Most manufacturers offer a 3 to 6-month warranty period against product defects; warranties periods will vary by the manufacturer, should your item appear to be defective upon receipt or becomes defective for any reason within the warranty period contact customerservice@hdworkgear.com, include a photo of the issue for review and advise you on the findings and if applicable send you father instructions.

 

Optional Ordering Methods

HD Work Gear prefers all orders to be placed online, although there are alternative order methods, contact: customerservice@hdworkgear.com and you will help you place your order over the phone or customers can email or fax their order to us, we will verify all the information and invoice you through Square or PayPal.
